How We End Capitalism
Hey all!
Hope this email finds you well. This month I explored what it will take to topple capitalism and address climate chaos. Drawing on the writings of abolitionists and stories from the frontlines of pipeline and fossil fuel blockades I distilled some essential lessons on how we can build power, relationships, and ultimately a better world. As always, you can find the result of my research in video form, as well as three links and three quotes I found along the way.
Three Quotes:
“Environmentalism without class struggle is just gardening.”
— Chico Mendes
“...relationship building is as much of a politic as [their] commitment to abolition is, or [their] commitment to anticapitalism.”
— Hampton Institute
“I think people need to experience the power of solidarity in order to understand that other people who we've been coached to fear are actually our best hope”
— Kelly Hayes
